ESPN Drops Hank Williams, Jr. For Comparing Obama To Hitler

ESPN: “While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”

Country singer, Hank Williams, Jr., will no longer open up tonight’s Monday Night Football due to his controversial statements about President Obama. He compared this summer’s so-called golf summit between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner as “one of the biggest political mistakes ever.”  He continued with, “It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu.”

  1. I totally agree that Obama can be compared to Hitler. Ask my high school government teacher. I’ve said it before and will say it again.
